As far as mrtstang goes the GTO driver could be a sh!tty driver perhaps?? Could of been in bad spots for the GTO and good ones for the stang and with your runs you could of been in your prime spots to run in??

What all was done to the GT with 298?? I know full bolt on's with cams, but stock heads or ported??

Not too bad at all, my buddy's goat never ran away from me like that haha but if he did a cai and tune I'm sure he would. Did you ever get your car dyno'd when it was still stock?

good runs. 40-45 mph is a bad starting for a a4 gto. 20 and 60 is a good starting spot. your car runs well.

Well, i can tell you guys for a fact that the driver of the GTO does know how to drive. He's drove my stang several times. He may not be the best, but he certainly isn't bad or slow or anything like that. I was surprised myself to be honest. As we all know there could be several reasons for the outcome, but this is the way it down in my case.

Not to steal your thread op, but i did post the results on here a while back when it all happened.

Here's the thread for any of you that might be interested.

I'm not doubting you at all, man. I know we get all technical and dissect every story that comes through here, but when it comes down to it, it doesn't take much to sway a race either way when both cars are within a few tenths of each other. Some of these roll races blow my mind though. In the case of a rolling start, the stronger higher trapping car should be getting away, but as we all know that's not always the case for whatever reason(s).

Nah, it's all good. I didn't feel like anyone was calling me out or anything. I agree with you on the whole street racing thing though. Especially the roll racing. Once in a while things happen on the street that just don't make any logical sense lol. Even when you factor in every possible scenerio lol.

I figured 40ish was a bad roll for him, but what I don't get is if a 20 roll is good for the gto and I jumped out a car (him at my back bumper) and held him off, but at a 40 I pull out just a 1/2 car and he pulls back and puts a bumper..... Oh well I don't have a clue lol.

It's been kinda dead around here lately but the guy with the gto is the same one with the 396 Camaro I told you about and if your still down for a 40 roll he'll be more than happy to do one with you!!! 435whp carmaro vs your 380whp srt4 would make for a good video

CHOP CHOP!! haha but 400whp sounds even better haha, F-body LT1 black on ZR1 wheels street tires and stock 10 bolt with 3.42's 6spd full weight and all. Mayhem Motorsports is who built and tuned it maxed out the stock intake mani (so they say) and put out 435/395 to the ground, and damn near ran right with that bolt on 2011 I wanted you to run that night.
