Anyway, both the new 3.7L and 5.0 are quite impressive engines from a performance standpoint. V6's have always been the bulk of Mustang sales, and now the average Mustang buyer is actually getting a heckuva powerplant. 3.7L making ~300hp bone stock with a strong torque curve, and getting over 30mpg, and it doesn't break the bank.
And let's be honest, the 2011 V6 Mustang is faster than the vast majority of vehicles on the road....most people don't drive performance cars.
Yep the new V6 is finally not a damn joke anymore. Should even be enought car to take the fight to alot of performance cars out there like a Speed 3, Genesis, GTi etc. Cars the 4.0 would have gotta pulled by. Sorry 4.0 guys.
I agree. I don't see why it would have any trouble pulling any on of those cars you listed. I'd say the Genesis would be its closest competition.
No we gotta call em that, it's part of the SS section rules I think.
