look at that torque monster move out! way to go. my neighbor has an eclipse that looks exactly the same. He hasn't asked me to race though

 

lol dont waste time on a eclipse get a turbo/sc and they wont ever look at you anymore hahaha

 

What the hell did you do to your car?

 

I raced a FWD eclipse of that year with a simple 16G swap from a dig in my GTO that cuts 1.7-1.8 60ft's at the strip and runs 12.7 @ 106MPH

he way very cocky and said he ran low 12's and everyone in his group backed him on it... he was a big doucher that needed to get called out but that is besides the point

I ended up beating him... but only on the launch and keeping the same amount of distance on him past 40MPH... by 120MPH I only had a car and a half

long story short, most of the people talking crap on the eclipse would have lost to a very minor modded one... especially if it was AWD... I'm pretty sure I would have lost if the eclipse I raced was AWD, doesn't take much for them to run mid 12's in the AWD variant

anything past that and you start breaking driveline components however

unless u are saying this bc u dont like the car and your going out of your way to be a douche which is understandable most older guys dont as they prefer a more domestic look i dont.
