Notch vs hatch vs 2 srt4s
Last night after the car meet was mostly over a couple of guys came by to look for some runs.
05 srt4 stage 2 "with toys"
03 srt4 stage 1
95 hatch with semi-built B16
I was talking to them about their cars and they guy in the hatch started saying "yea its pretty quick, I smash one GT mustangs all the time" So i asked him if he wanted to run mine. He looked at my car and said "I will smash on you, I got this!" haha I didnt say anything. We decided to go from a roll since we both have traction issues.
First roll 45mph: I honked it off. By the time i hit 4th i was wayy ahead of him. 7+cars until i shut off.
Second roll 40mph: bad spot for me since I am on top of second. We go and i spin and short shift to 3rd and spun a bit more.. reeled him in and put 3 cars until I shut off. Raced a few more times and it was pointless
VS both srt4s 55-60mph roll: They honked it off and it ended up being a race between me and the stage 2. I shut it off after I had 3 cars on him with the other srt4 behind him I dont know how far though.
QUICKIE: I won
p.s. I have to start going to these meets in Mexico more often/

So considering they were lightly modded, they should trap at least 83-85 (most likely more) in the 1/8th, so with half *** drivers, lets say they still only trap what a stock SRT would trap, in which case they would still pull the OP. So how on Earth he put lengths on those cars is beyond me.

I definitely see this story being true with ur mods....friend has an 86 gt with ur mods and witnessed it beat many cars untuned....

Hey I was wondering how iI would stack up against a stock lighting. This guy at the local is so cocky and talks a lot of smack and I want to shut him up. I know Lightings can be really quick modified. i have an 87 Notch with GT40 heads, GT40 upper and lower intake, udp, hedman shorty headers, o/r hpipe, e-cam, 3.73s, a/c-smog delete and a few other small things here and there. I really dont know were I stand since I havent gone to the track or really run as much as i use to. Any ideas?

I've used to own both cars and im not buying it. I had an 86 GT with similiar mods and a stage 2 SRT-4 and the mustang isn't going to run off on the skittle like that from a roll.
