Default New PB + Vid

11.42 @ 123.5 with a 1.60'. Car still has a lot more in it. I was short shifting @ 6k instead of riding it out to 6500. Got the vid below and time slip

Thanks Stone. It felt so awesome on that run. It took off so hard it pulled on my hand and foot so hard it made them want to come of the shifter and gas pedal. I don't know how it must feel for guys who run 8's or even funny car guys must feel.

Nice runs dude, you ripped out of the hole pretty good. That's a big mph number.

I believe StkJck is having the same problem, resulting in a lot of bucking. Might help to slide the seat forward as much as you can stand.

Thanks, and ya i would have thought I would have gotten a lower et with that 60' and mph. Need to figure it out a bit.

That's a good idea. I'll start doing that. I was hoping my buddy was going to be there that night, I was going to borrow his skinnies and try and lift the front end up. I think I would have if i had them on for that pass.

A racing seat without much foam in it, would also help, as your body wont sink into the seat, which can pull you away from the controls.

Can't watch the video at work, but I'll watch it when I get home for sure.

Why are you short shifting?

Faster shifting and higher RPMs.

Faster shifting and higher RPMs.
I short shifted the first couple runs on Steve's advice because last time I was out I was only trapping around 118-119. The thinking was since my hp goes flat around 6000 rpm because of the blower being maxed to shift around then and see what happens. Right away I trapped 123. So, I kept doing that all night. I think it was probably due to me swapping out for a smaller belt. I think I was getting a little belt slip but still not sure on that.

I emailed Tony after and he said I should ride it out to 6500, so i will next time i hit the strip.
