Like the title states, I finally talked her into a little run. We tried for a dig run, but just couldn't pull it off due to other cars. So we caught a turning lane, made a U-Turn, and rolled it out to 20 mph and I honked it off. Unfortunately for her, her G35 didn't downshift as quickly as mine did resulting in me getting a huge jump on her from the get-go. There was no way she could recover, so I slowed up to 40 mph for another try. This time, I waited for her trans to downshift before I punched it since mine is tuned and more or less downshifts the moment I go past 3/4 throttle. Anyway, the 2nd run was much, much closer and really showed what her G35 is capable of. For those of you who don't know, my wife drives a 2007 G35-S sedan. It has the HR engine and makes 306 HP. The car only weighs about 3300-3400 lbs and the S model comes with 3.73s and LSD, as well as bigger brakes, tighter suspension, etc. In other words, its a decent amount quicker than a pre-07 G35 sedan or pre-06 350Z, and way quicker than any of the G35 coupes. The vid kind of sucks, so I apologize for that. It was dark and my camera didn't focus, but you can still see what's going on. We shut it down at 100 mph on both runs.

On a side note, I ran a 335i this morning in my SS. Put 2 cars on him from a dig up to 60 mph, then he walked on past me pretty steadily and put 2 cars back on me by 90mph. Don't know if he was stock, doesn't really matter cause even a stock 335i should walk my *** up top... anyway, here's the vid of my wife and I not racing while we were in Tijuana...

Haha, if I were stock she would've pulled harder than that! I did give her the hit on the second run, but still... that G is quickish. I'm going to put it on the track one of these days. I'm thinking 13.7-13.8 at 102 or so. Maybe a 13.5 in perfect air with a couple drop in filters, ditching the 18" spare/jack/etc, idk. It'll all be short lived though, I've gotta a hell of a mod list for the SS, lol.

I think you're mixing up Stone with USMCrebel. Stone sold his 5M Mach long ago and then eventually bought another Mach a couple years back, this time an auto, but again sold it. Stone loves paying sales tax.

 

It's a inside joke bro. When I joined MF in 07 he had Melanie and besides his wife that was the apple of his eye. He sold the car to a buddy of his so I have to ask the question now and again..
