Default My GT vs E93 M3

Edit: This was a coupe, not a convertible. Apparently the vert is an E93 and the coupe is an E92.

Let me just say outright that these M3s look effing SICK. I guess i'm a little biased but I don't think many cars look better than stangs and most dont turn heads like mine but I was out-classed here. I really just wanted to stare. It was blood red, slammed, murder tint and looked pure ****. It look really fresh like it just came off the lot.

Was cruising to work and was stuck behind some asshat doing 70 in the left lane. Random BMW w/ hood dome comes up behind me and decides quick he doesnt wanna cruise behind these slow-pokes. He passes us in the very right lane. At first I wasnt gonna bother at all cuz Im usually pretty mellow in the morning and dont wanna race and I could tell he just wanted to get around us. He wasnt trying to instigate anything.

But I decided I was also tired of riding behind these jerks, and its Friday and I havent got a good go at a decent bimmer while F/I. I stayed in OD and gave it some gas. I had to get up to 90 to catch up to him and do a mini fly by to let him know I was game. He follows me and the highway doesnt open up for about another mile but we had all three lanes clear for at least a mile once it opened up. I was doing about 75 and decided to let him pull up on me and pace me if he wanted to race. He paces, but doesnt roll down his window(this really annoys me when people have murder tint) so I have no clue if he wants to honk or what. I hear him down shift and his car lunged forward so I nailed it. I expected a lot more from this race because I put him in another time zone pretty quick. I didnt let off until about 125mph and had put about 4 cars on him and was still pulling. Of course he did a huge fly by afterwards and tried to weave inbetween two cars and honestly damn near killed himself, it was REALLY close. I literally gasped and hit the brakes thinking a huge wreck was coming. How the hell is my car 300-400lbs lighter than a fresh BMW M3 2-door coupe?

Sidenote: Played around doing fly bys with an 03 sonic blue cobra that was slammed and tinted coming home yesterday on the same highway. We never lined up and raced but both went WOT in the same lane I was behind him and stayed right on him. He was probly pullied/exhausted. Was a very friendly/fun encounter. An LS1 camaro came up on us when we merged onto a diff highway and tried to get in on the action but we both left him in the dust that was my favorite part haha.

Good run, Hangwire. The new M3s are impressive. I still haven't seen your car since the KB went on. I've been keeping in eye out for you on 540 though.
