Alright guys so I have a 2000 V6 5speed all I have done to it as far as mods are very minimal like bosch platinum 4's and 8mm borg warner wires. I have also made my hood functional and taken some of the weight sh** out of it. I have a buddy who has a 86 GT and it is in the worst shape possible she is a dying horse which is sad but anyways I have a 84k on mine and he has like some billion on his, his is also a manual. Do you think I am lucky enough for him to have lost enough compression over the years and abuse she has had layed on her to race him and win?

I know a old lady who had a mid 80s 5.0 with 260K on it and it still ran like new.

 

I am thinkin the same but he is not the best driver thats for SURE and I am not bragin but I have some talent seeings how this is my life I am sure you guys know what I mean by that (well most of you anyway). And I have beat older z28 tpis and formulas before I have really only lost a total of two times I those two times I was handed my a** but still haha I am not saying I have a fast car but I have a quick car for what it is... What do the 86 GT's weigh??

 

I've got another buddy who has a 05 V6 auto I cant wait til he gets back from training camp to run with him I really want to run with a 05 V6 just to see how much of a difference there is I know that they have 20 more tq and hp but they weigh a considerable amount more.

 

just race them anyways for fun. i hate it when people dont race cuz they know there gonna lose. hell id line up with daniels cobra if it were just for fun. i line up with LS1 at the track all the time. i know im gonna lose but this one time i got lucky and won
