Default Chevy truck???

On my way back from lunch today, sitting at a light. Dimly aware that there was a chevy 2500 dually next to me. Light turned green and I was smothered in diesel exhaust as he nailed it. He got 3/4 length on me as I reacted, then I started to reel him in. As I pulled even at about 70mph he backed off. Caught the next light red and I left him from the line. No contest.

C'mon - a dually????

I think if a cop had been around the only citation would have been for pollution!

never seen a 3/4 ton dually before

But for serious... you gotta watch out for these trucks now, the cheby variety especially. 1.5lofFury has one, that he mentioned, that would leave that pretty 5-0 behind.... if you got caught sleeping and/or spinning that is. Search his threads, for his times AND for a pic of the truck.... you would be HIGHLY surprised

I figured he was running about a million ft/lbs of torque - he was quick off the line. But he wasn't 5.0 quick

BTW, meant 3500 not 2500. Fat fingers.

Actually, once I figured out the race was on, I had him - as the even start at the next light proved. I never in a million years thought a guy in a truck would want to race...
