You don't have an open diff still, do you? Sounds like traction has been a tad elusive for you, especially at rolling speeds. Are you spinning positive or one wheel when she breaks loose?

I know it should be on down in the 12's for sure.... I'll be able to have real good idea after I run the 1/8th on friday get times and mph figures, but I'd say in the rang of 12.0-12.3's@110-113 as a good guess.

Lol thanks man!! Me and the few friends that knew about the setup didnt really know how well it would do but needless to say everyone is very surprised and impressed!

On the spinning issue she is laying posi's and painting the road with 2 nice wide black marks, the only time it one tire fires is at the track... Pisses me off too lol. Before all of this i could only dream of spinning these tires from any roll but now about 90% of the time it's like the spin fest 500 hahaha.
Oh and btw yesterday i took the timming from 10*-14* and now it spins even worse unless I'm on conrete lol

 

Man, she is running right for sure. Sounds pretty light on the **** though or not transferring weight good enough to be spinning like that. Still running stock suspension? Sounds like its time for some slicks and maybe a new clutch pack for the rear diff. Reckon it will run a high 11 on a good tire?

 

After the ride I just went on, holy hell what a difference!!!!!! I mean, that mother ****er screams out the hole! He ran it through 4th gear, Im a little too chicken **** on the passenger side for all that, lol. 2nd gear walked all over the lane on the first run-of-the-gears, but hooked up pretty good from the 2nd gear roll.

He's got shocks and control arms, and it definately transfers the weight, at the track anyways. I took some vids the last time we went to the track, doing rev-limiter launches on slicks, and that 256whp was damn near pulling the left front! Ive been on his *** about getting a vid of those launches up, but hes at the mercy of his crappy computer and lazy friend....lol

Im very excited to see what numbers are put down, both at the track and on the rollers. But, we see where he's going first..... where it matters

Edit: Yes, the op is my bro, so naturally I'll say good things..... but fellas, this boy shifts so damn fast and so damn hard it just simply amazes me. I know he's posted in-car vids, but they dont do justice. The best mod that car has is him behind the wheel... true story

On the **** kickin contest I think I could hold my own for a minute or so then he'll take me down!!! He had a bad temper qnd got in a lot more fights then I did when we was younger lol.

But my bro was right I got lakewood 50/50's and upr upper/lower's in the rear and it transfers the weight good and twist up hard but it just freckin spins like hell.... Once I get a few more thing dialed in and on a good slick with a good launch in - da I could maybe bust an 11 but time will tell lol
