First kill... LOL!
At 34, my 2005 GT is my first brand new car ever and everything I'd ever hoped it could be. My father bought me the K&N CAI for my b-day and I just installed it on Saturday. The butt-dyno says it added a little extra go and it definitely sounds different.
So anyway, I'm on my way home from washing my GT over at a friend's house and I'm stopped at a light with three lanes across. I'm not looking for a challenge or even thinking along those lines. I didn't even notice what kind of cars were around or next to me... just minding my own business.
The light turns green and as per usually I go with a mildly heavy foot... definitely not trying to "launch". Within about 3 seconds I see the car that had been next to me at the light is now charging up to try blowing my doors off. I quickly introduce the accelerator pedal to the carpet and before long the guy is about two lengths back when I dropped off due to cars up ahead. It wasn't a clean challenge since I didn't know we were throwing down, but I got him anyhow. Now of course you're wanting to know what he was driving... well try not to laugh because I did have to flex the car's full muscle to get him... it was a silver Volvo stationwagon.
How and WHY did this guy think he could take me? What was he thinking and how did he prove worthy enough for me to claim it as my first kill???
I point you to the answer here: Volvo V70R (click me)
I did not see "V70R" on the rear badge since he never got that far ahead, but I can't imagine what else it could have been.
So, do I get forum member approval to mark this one on my belt?

Hisss, I PM'd you the Parrot info.
JD, a 300hp/295 lb-ft, 0-60 in 5.9 wagon. This thing would eat an '05 v6 Stang for a lite snack!
... but yeah, that's why I put the LOL in the subject... a freakin' Volvo wagon! Bahaha!

I would say a kill is a kill like many other members have said. Your right it is a quick wagon, but the fact that is a wagon and wanting to race is just funny. But good kill man, and nice car.
if you get some nice rims on that car, like 17 bullets in front and 18x10s in the rear with bigass tires, i will count this as a kill, because that is a nice car but needs wheels
I may get those wheels as suggested as I thought already something like that would look hot.
Too many other upgrades on the list first though... short-throw shifter, CPU tuner, axle-backs.
Thanks for the compliments!

Nice kill, dont feel too bad about having a station wagon as your first kill, my first kill in my car was an old pontiac sunfire with a wing spinner hub caps and a fart can haha. Just today two kids not much older than me raced me in their 1920's honda hatchback lol. I dont go looking for races but , as was the case with you, they start it, i will finish it.
Nice '05 by the way, really sharp
