The HR 350Zs run in the 13s for the most part. The DE or whatever it was run mid to low 14s.

the de DOES NOT have 300hp, the hr has 305 or 308.
the hr stands for high revving.
if it was an auto, that makes it even more sluggish.

As stated, HR stands for high rev, no idea what DE stands for other than slow, lol. The HR has 306 HP, DE changed HP ratings a couple times, but the last DE made 280 something. Its a low-mid 14 to mid-high 13 second difference.

I hammered a new 2011-12 370 Z just yesterday. It was no contest. I was in the fast lane doing about 70 mph, he was on my ***, so just as I was about to go over into the slow lane to get out of his way, he slides into the slow lane and floors it, trying to pass me. I dropped it into 3rd, floored it, and was up to 120mph like that. He was WAY back, maybe 20 car lengths. I slowed down to a reasonable 75, and he gives me the obligatory RICER FLY BY. Why do these guys do that???? Any reasonable answers from my Mustang friends??? Please enlighten me...... and no lectures please, I am 57 years old and should know better than to street race.....

Jesus dude, 20 car lengths?? That's like 300ft or 7.5 buses lol.

@OP; nice work dude. I raced a 350 this summer and it was a handful for me honestly. Nice looking car, but with all the constant changes on those cars from year to year I would be suffering buyers regret like a **** lol.

lol that's great! I have a bad habit of flooring it horribly when I am tail gaited by other drivers as well. I also put a zillion car lengths on them rofl

They usually slow down by then... they have no choice. They're so far back!

Considering that most passanger cars have about 125-165 whp on average.. it's no surprise.
