The 4.6 makes less whp than that stock I believe...
wow a v8 with a 100 shot beating a stock 2.0 4 banger. And only beat it by 4 cars, lol. Should of raced him from a roll it would of been closer. Or let the guy in a cobalt put a 100 shot on his cobalt and see what the out come would of been. I had a ss cobalt and i know for sure i never got beat by a v8, sounds like that guy needs to learn how to drive. i was beating , ls1 s , mach 1 s, a 396 camaro and so on. the cobalt stock SUCKS on a dig with out stickys. If he had stickys and a tune you would of lost. just saying.
That 4.6 was a +15 second car when it was stock, maybe trapping 95mph. The SS/SC can run low 14s at 100 mph pretty easily stock. I'd say that 100 shot did plenty for his GT.

As far as your SS beating Machs and LS1s, you definitely beat the drivers. I've had all three cars and the SS/SC is by far the slowest, even with a 2.8 and full exhaust.

TVS, stock pulley, cti header, catless downpipe, full 3 inch exhaust, 79lb injectors, ls4 tb,rebel 3 inch cai, cx racing intercooler. Also i had stage 2 dss axles, spec 3 plus clutch, alum flywheel. Some weight reduction, ott stage 2 roated mounts. i think thats it.
Makes much more sense now. That set-up would no doubt hand any bolt-on Machs or LS1s their ***. That's the route I wanted to go with mine, but backed out and went another route instead with a totally different vehicle.
sounds like a lot of mods to make a measly 322whp. if it was so fast and could beat ls1's and mach's why do you have a little 'ole 260whp if that gt?
