I think that was a pretty good time for you first time out. I would work on the launches, your car should be closer to very low 13's. I am terrible at launching with the wheel hop. But i still enjoy every moment!!

Is it auto or manual? The next thing to get is steeda charge motion plates. I picked up 17 rwhp with them. With what is in my sig I went 13.5 in my auto on street tires. I am also getting gears then a new throttle body soon. The tb picked up 20hp and 25tq with a tune according to 5.0 Mustang or MMFF, I can't remember which. Good times for your first time out.

Don't mean to hurt you guys feelings but there's no way you r going to pickup 20hp with a TB. Just ain't happening. Those r really good times for both of you considering your mods.

I tend to agree with firemedix911. 20 rwhp just seem to high for a tb. Are you sure you are not cofusing it with fly wheel hp.

Dont get me wrong, you figure tb= $500 or so for 20 horses at the wheels, I can go for that but I will need some true numbers.

I'm in awe of your R/T for a first timer. I can only assume where you are the clock starts at 0 for R/t ours start at .5 so that the clock is allready rolling when you launch. That is just for R/T not everything else. All I have is a C&L intake with a tune and I'm in an Auto.. I normally run the local 1/8th so here are my times. And this is really consistent. R/T .657 (or i suppose .157 based on a 0 start) 60ft 2.166 330ft 5.963 MPH 61.69 1/8th 9.011@ 80.116 mph. I am currently looking at pulleys an electric water pump and NOS. I would love to know more about the charge motion plates. Does anyone have hard before/after info? Just the little bit I've read says the change isn't worth the money or time. 757 GT, do you have strip times or dyno info to back the 17 hp claim? To me to get 17hp out of them is worth the time and money spent. I would happily put the water pump on the back burner if there is real data showing that for less money it will go faster.

Great runs guys, and I'm also wondering if the CMP's can be done in the driveway or not?

hey dave05gt, yeah you can do the delete plates in the drive way. but you must get the tune redone with them. i have been really busy as of late so i havent had a chance to drop my car off at the dyno shop again. still dont know what diff the water pump, underdrive pulleys and the delete plates make. i might get it up there this week before i have to join the rest of my guys in la to help with the hurricane.
