He could've ran a 1/4 tank less fuel, yanked a seat, and dropped 120 rounds of 223 ammo.

Sure, if I wanted. I'm curious now, let me look at the chart.

Spoiler -4.75
Passenger seat -43
Carpet -22.35
Floormats -6.10
Trunk Carpet and Pads -12.75
SRT Rear Seat Bottom -10.10
SRT Rear Seat Back -29.95
Rear Middle Seatbelt -2.25
Center console -?

So thats about 135lbs I could easily remove if I wanted, plus I had almost half a tank in it.

Lol, yea but theres not really any extra crap in that car im saying...its pretty light already.

You can always drop weight if your willing to gut the car but 100 lbs is it worth it?

Just that damn seat and 1/4 tank would be worth a solid tenth. Personally, I would stop there.

Nah, just passenger and rear seat next time. with 1/4 tank. Adjusting other things will net better things than all that hassle for a little weight.

No doubt, sounds like you're going to be plenty fast either way.

Id just run at full weight, minus the 1/2 tank of gas, make it a 1/4 next time. I think it's awesome to have a stellar time at full weight, just my opinion

PD, wonder why your 1/8th trap went from 96mph before the new stuff to 95mph after? Tires maybe?

IIRC his previous times were from Natural Bridge, which, apparently, 'run faster' then other tracks. Case in point, my car ran a best of 8.86@ 83, with a best trap of 84. VMP the best i ran stock was 8.9x @ 81. Even with my mods I didnt trap more than 83 there. Dunno why the times are inflated, but that seems to be the case...

Ahh, makes sense. IMO, there is some variance from track to track, just judging by my past experience. I've always ran faster 1/8ths at Roxboro compared to Fayetteville.
