On the highway today came up on an Evo. Was me and my brother in the car (both of us are around 6'2" and 200lbs so extra weight). I wanted to see how I'd fair up against one so I gave it the gas letting the guy know I wanted to run. We were going around 55mph and we both floored it about the same time and the results were disasterous for me... He instantly put cars on me. We lined up again and I tried getting him to slow down as my x charger isnt too great up top but he wouldn't slow and just floored it and I immediately floored it and again he put cars on me again. This things turbo sounded amazing...and obviously not stock... I wish I could've had a race from a lower speed though!

 

Been there brother....no shame in that loss. There's a group of them that visit the same track I go to and their traps range from the slowest at 118mph to the faster one at 135+. Nasty little cars when modded.

 

Yeah that thing took off like I was standing still. I was expecting a decent race but I was wrong haha

 

Man those things are quick arnt they lol. There's a kid around my area running an evo 8 or 9. Idk. But it's got a cam, bolt ons and meth, on the stock turbo with some crazy amount of boost like 26 ish lbs. He apparently put lengths on a porsche gt3rs, and beat a couple bikes. He took me and my buddy for a spin one night... Ya he spun second with us in the car. Lol. So don't feel bad bro.

 

Honorable death Max! They're pretty decent cars out the box, but start throwing mods at them and things can get nasty real quick! Good run, maybe you'll find a stock one to pick on one day!

 

They are nasty! I wonder that tht guy runs in the quarter mile being able to leave me like that. Granted I don't have loads and loads of hp but dang

 

Probably way into the 11s with a 125+ trap.

 

Nice death..I remember being near stock and running into one at a stop light... He told me after the run he made like 430awhp... I made 324rwhp at the time... he was in the next county before I realized the light was green. lol
