coming home from the track last night im doing 55 in the slow lane just cruising my hour trip home nice and slow and then this red acura integra is 2 lanes over and i hear him downshift. so i move over and line up going about 60 and we do the 3 beeps. i pull hard on him maybe about a car or 2 right off the bat and when we hit 105 he pulls on me like i just put it in reverse on the highway. we do this 3 times from 60 mph and same result everytime. i mean if we went from a lower roll i know i woulda pulled harder but again im positive he woulda caught me up around the 110 area. my car has no topend i dunno if its the 4.10 gears or what have you but it pulls hard to 100-105 and then falls flat on its face. and im not going to use the whole i had 3 kids in my car and he was by himself excuse cuz he pulled hard. damn top end[:@]

 

no such thing as a fast *** integra. he was just incredibly lucky that a coffee mug rolled under your accelerator

 

did you hear a turbo or anything ?? integra's, most honda's/acura's can be made fast. a lot of people underrate them, but, theyll sneak up on you. sux that you lost, but at least youre not using the excuse that you said. and it probably is the 4.10's if you have a stock engine(for the most part). sux that you lost, but, sounds like they were good races........btw, he coulda had a bottle in it.........was it a 2dr or 4dr ? ls ? gsr ? type-r ?

 

I have never seen an Integra that my mid-13 second pig couldn't land on. Must be a very rare specimen that you ran into.

 

They are few and far between. I hope i never run into one, i may have to kill myself.

 

Sounds like he sprayed on your a$$. And yes those 4:10's hurt your top end.

 

I hate to give any Integra props, because most of them I run into are slow as hell, but a Subaru buddy of mine used to own one. White Hyp3-R with a ginormous turbo on it. He had it until he successfully ran from the police in it, then got arrested the next day because they wrote down his tags.

He ran high 11s at the track heh. You never know what you could come up against! I agree, the guy probably was either turbo'd or had some nitrous to pass you like that, no matter what your gearing was like.

I'll never say that XXX car or XXX trucks are all slow, because that's the day that one would hand me my ***. Some crazy bastard in an engine-swapped and turbo'd Colt could put the hurt on you when you least expect it! (yes, there's a guy around here with that particular swap =p)

Thats a stout teg if he took a modded/sprayed GT.

Regardless of my undying hate for mustang GT motors, a bolt on/spray one should be pretty stout.
