Default another one for FORD

This weekend I did have one short race that I guess is worth mentioning. I was out cruisin on Sat and pulled up next to a 88 GTA Trans Am. I looked over and there was a guy w/ I am guessing his gf. As i listen I get confused cause I thought I heard a small whine but I wasnt sure. We look and nod so on green I go for it. He doesnt hit it at all so I am half way down the block before I stop. As we cruise down my heart starts to pump as we start to slow down. At the next light I stop w/ him and we wait for it to turn red. I think, "wow, this is gonna be good. He is going to be a good challenge." He looks over and wants to know "if I wanna run???" I say sure and we wait now for green. On green we take off. I think, crap I am squeeling too much only to realize that he is spinning like crazy and I have a good start. That torque must have gotten away from him. I immediately have a one car lead and as we take off, pull on him to about one and a half to two cars. We then pull into a gas station to talk and he was a cool guy. I find out that it was the 88 GTA Trans Am w/ only Flowmasters which did sound pretty good. Unfortunately he had plans to rice it out and ruin a classic. Carbon fiber hood, wings, etc. I was really disappointed by it but to everyone their own.

Anyone have specs on this car??? If he didnt spin could he have taken me w/ a good driver???
Thanks.

now you need some gears and nitrous. then he'll become a spec in your rear view mirror.

Was it a 305TPI or a 350TPI?

Either way, good kill. Both the 305TPI & 350TPI are extremely torquey motors.
