Yea dude you should run at worst 15s all day. You should adverage in the mid 14s, but if your real good you might be able to land in the high 13s, but don't count on that.

Should do better than that. A 5.0 will run about a 14.9 to 15.2. Your 4.6 has quite a bit more power than the 5.0.
Since when do early 4.6's have more power than a 5.0 ?!?! LOL

They have MAYBE the same peak power, but less torque and way less low end.

Regardless, the car in question here should run in the high 14's with the gears and H pipe.

I had a 1987 GT and the mechanic told me that the 5.0HO was 216hp. I was also told that the 4.6 was 265hp in the GT.

Low 15s, high 14s at best. The 4.6 with p.i. heads was rated at 260, non p.i. heads were rated between 215 and 225. The 5.0 were rated in the same range. The bullitt with was rated at 265hp.

No **** LOL.

No offence intended here dude, but non PI 4.6 = turd. You will be lucky to run 15.0 or high 14s on street tires with your mods.

You should still have fun though.

except that the bullitt was rated at 270 LOL.

I have heard that the PI 4.6 was actually re-rated around 270-275ish buty have never seen any back up for that. Personally, I doubt it. They are only dynoing 230s to the wheels and that does not equal a 275 hp engine.

Here is 757s quote.....

Bullit was rated 265 when it came out, my friend has one, they might have re rated them later though.
