I got my first kill today... str4 i think it was all decked out with the spoilers and rear wing as i was at a stoplight in the right lane smoking my cig and i saw him pull out from 3 cars behind me to line up in the left lane at the stop light with me.. i was only going about 75 yards to turn into grander mountain,, light turned green and we rolled just afew feet and both nailed it, he stayed beside me when it was spinning (even with a full gas tank) when she grabbed he was like 5 cars behind and i never made it into 2nd gear as i had to slow down to make my turn, i heard him coming hard as i had time to turn my head and watch him go by ..it had something like a turbo as it made the wiss like sound as he changed gears..



He also turned into grander mountain at the next driveway down but he kept his distance and never f***** with me again.. you think maybe i could of told him that is what 4:56 rear gears looks like in an auto or just let him think wtf was that ..

 

Not sure how you put 5 cars on a SRT-4 AND still slow down to make a turn within 75 yards

this story makes no sense, you have 4.56 gears and never got out of first, so basically you get like 30mph out of first, you cant put 5 lengths on a stopped car in that time lol.

 

I really don't remember if it hit 2nd or not as it's an auto.. 6500rpm comes quick with these gears..

That skittle wasn't racing... Stock they pull 0-60's in the low 5 second range and the quarter in the high 13 second range. Stock for stock he'd have you easy. I wonder if you have any other mods besides gears. BPU and you wouldn't stand a chance. Those things are quick, I don't mess with em.

Makes one think it was a run of the mill skittle with some parts and badges. Either that, or he really wasn't racing. Any more mods besides gears on your 2001?

Looks like it took about 6 seconds to get from 0 to sixty. I used to have a SRT4 and it was every bit as quick as that stock. The 5 lenths in 75 yards thing is pretty silly. Just curious but why did you go with such steep gears?

 

Nope, I am NOT going to call BS on this............I'm calling Mastadon schit on this. Someone stab me in the eyeball with a pen. 5 car lengths in 75 yards and still made the turn. I've seen some whoppers on here, but this one takes the grand prize.
