Two kills in Six blocks
Ok so here it is; two kills in six blocks.
So I am cruisin around w/ a friend and we are cruising beside a Scion TC w/ guy and gf in shotgun. He is cruisin like he is real badass and we both punch it. He was about a car ahead when we started and I shifted into third gear at about 35mph. I know from a racing standpoint that it was a bad move and I did bog real bad. Surprisingly, I was catching him. Then that turbo spooled up and he held his ground. Now, from the point-of-view of my passenger, I started to pull real good and when I climbed back to have him by about a bumper we saw something real funny. His gf's head snapped back like a cantaloupe as the rev limiter was hit and fuel was shut off. It was hilarious because at this point I took over the situation and owned him good. He then shut down.
Next, there was a Tiburon, base model. I was thinking tonight that after talking about Nanaki's encounter, it would be nice to take a Tibbie. Well here was my chance. The TC had ran a red light to get away from me and now the Tibbie stepped up. I am not going to brag about this cause he was base but sure enough, he revved at the light and the two guys in it starred me down. The light turned green and by the time I got to 3 grand in first, I had about a car and a half on them. No contest at all even though I did spin a little more than I normally do.
Just reporting on two insignificant notches for Ford. Not the greatest but they were kills somewhat. By the way, I tried to race an Eclipse on a track tonight but he lost me as he followed me. It could have been intimidation or just losing me on the way to the track.
P.S. From my previous post last week, does anyone know the specs on a 88 Trans Am GTA. I owned one good last week. It was stock except for Flowmasters.
Thanks

nice races. but damn you shoudl have smoked that TC. next time downshift to 2nd
. i will always shift to 2nd if im going 55 or slower. if i was going 60 and shifted 2nd then i would have to shift right out of it to 3rd which would waste a little time

thats what i was wondering.........altho the tuner support they have, i kno they already have one or two aftermarket turbo setups ready.........so, you know..........either way, congrats on the wins. a win is a win.
