Default New PB this weekend.....

Its been a while since I posted a video of my hot rod, so thought I would throw up a vid of my new PB from this weekend. MT 275/60/15 Drag radials, and not being able to leave very hard, but still a new best.

Damn your car sounds good!! Good time and great mph!! I'd love to see that thing on slicks with a hard launch!

Thanks! Yeah, I am going to try to take it in the next few weeks on a set of slicks and see what happens. I have a friend that is going to let me use his tow rig so I don't have to worry about it if I happen to break anything.

Congrats on new best. I dont think you have anything to worry about on the slicks. The slicks absorb some of the shock when they wrinkle.

True but at his power level and the suspention under the car he should be seeing close to bottom 1.50's

None the less I can't wait to see the results of this beast on slicks!!!

That was at Shadyside. Like 89LX said, hopefully it will turn low 1.50 60fts on slicks. That would be another .15 on top end, and I have a "hired gun" to drive it also... he is a good friend that has raced stick Mustangs for quite a while. The best part is he weghs about 125lbs less than me, so that will be some free ET as well.

Completely true. I just want to get it going straight before we start pushing the envelope too far. I was really having to drive it to get it to go somewhat straight. In the video you can see it jump around on the 1-2 change, and it keeps drifting toward the center line up top.

very nice! Looks like you're driving it very well and that car will respond nicely to some slicks! I cant wait until I get to the track again, really friggin sucks going to work every day surrounded by sick *** cars and it gets you pumped up then you walk outside and it's snowing.

Oh btw from the gopro angle it looks like you could use a nice compound job on the paint lol.
