Had a friendly run with a 335i

 

The guy can't drive. I had a 335i walk me in my 05. And I stay closer than that 335i to a stock 5.0

 

Idk what to tell you, not his first rodeo. It's also an auto, nothing much to it.

 

What did you know about that 335 though? All it takes is a tune to boost the turbos and they gain a lot of power. Stock for stock they should run pretty even with a 3v. It did seem a little slow in that video, but I haven't experienced the mighty 5.0 much, haha.

 

Someone needs to read 'Three Honks from a Roll' by the madman...

 

That was the only time i honked it off i was looking at something that's why i took forever but doesn't really matter all the other 9 times that we raced it was the same outcome.

 

LOL I wasn't claiming it would change the outcome... just funny.

 

Not surprised by the outcome, he would need at least a tune to make it interesting. Stock they are not that quick compared to the new 5.0's.

 

Yea I'm not real surprised either. A tune for the bimmer would make it close. Good win OP.
