sorry to say but the wrx will win especially since its street racing.. on the street the cobra wont hook worth a **** and the awd wrx will pull 1.8 60' with a good driver BONE STOCK.. im a stang fan but you prob dont have what it takes to beat him

 

Look at the trap speeds. Cobra will trap 103ish, the wrx wont break 100. If you lived in the real world and experience things as opposed to mag race, youd know that a cobra like his will destroy a stock WRX, especially from a roll.

 

yyou cant talk about trap speeds in a 1/4 and then try to relate that to racing from a roll, its two different kind of races.. you think that an n/a 8 cyclinder with beat a turbo car on the top end?

I think the WRX would have to get a really good launch to hold you off, if not then you should be able to pass him...

Its called a real world experience. My friend has a 98 cobra with just a shifter, and he trapped 102. I will say it was particularly cool that night, but either way, i saw what i saw. Best WRX trap speed i have ever seen at the track from a stock one was 96mph. I know neither of those numbers count for EVERY WRX and EVERY cobra, but thats what i generally see.

 

A Cobra will spank it even more from a roll. The Wrxs and all those are not known for having more torque from a roll and the cobra will get even better traction then
