Default highway showdown

i live off 85 north in atlanta. no one goes the speed limit, not even blue-hairs. the average speed on 85 is 85. well, anyways about 15 of us got together at about 2:00 A.M. and did an outrun contest. first person to lead the pack for a minute wins. i think i came in 5th out of some damn fast cars. supercharged G35, twin-turbo 300zx, 77 SD TA, twin-turbo STi, two supras, a cobra, and some more cars that didn't last for ****. the guy with the TA won, he got clocked by the STi at 180. the cars in front of me were the STi, G35, a supra and the cobra. the guy in 300zx was behind me and said he was doing 130, i hit the governor, 140, and held it there until i got the call it was over. it was f*cking awesome.

There are plenty of things I have done (street racing) that people have said have been dangerous or stupid, but that takes the cake.

i was shaking like baby when it was over. everything was tunnel vision and ****. there were no people on the road, that was why we waited so late to do it. i think i burned a 1/4 tank of premium in 8 miles, wide open the entire time. i talked to the guy with the TA and he never shifted to sixth, and he said he was cruising. the thing is a twin-turbo, fuel injected 515 CI v8 that winds out past 8000 rpms. it is really twisted, and really fast

TT STi?
don't know where he got it, but there were two hairdryers hanging off that engine. it was a monster, patched it in third.

Was there a TT Enzo Ferrari there, too?
