CAI/tune vs. SRT > 2nd gear roll > win (head to head in my 2nd gear..pulled about 2 cars after 3rd)

CAI/tune vs. convert M3 (newer ones) > 1,2, part of 3 > guy took me by surprise and punched it first > loss by half a car (3rd gear was pulling on him but had to slow for the next light)

Vortech vs. SRT-4 > 3rd,4th freeway then stoplight 1,2,3,4 > win (no competition..hehe)

Vortech vs EVO(blowoff valve,big muffler.. loud as heck) > 3rd,4th freeway > he punched first and jumped half car...reeled him in with 3rd, but only half car ahead on 4th gear before slowing down for cars ahead. that guy was fast.

Vortech vs. anniv SS LS1 > SS got behind me so I pulled to the next lane. The guy floored it from the back and didnt wait for an even start. He was ahead about 2 cars but reeled him in on 4th gear and passed him again before slowing for cars ahead.

Vortech vs. Dodge Magnum (those station wagons..slammed..aftermarket wheels..exhaust) > the guy initiated the race on the freeway. he pulled next to me and punched it. must have been an auto cause he jumped instant car length (2nd gear downshift)> again 3rd gear reeled him in and pulled away in 4th like he was standing still. he stayed back until i exited.

Vortech vs brand new RX8 (slammed, exhaust, afterm wheels .. looked nice) > coming out of a turn in 2nd. i was at his bumper before we hit a straight and I was able to floor second. he did good till i got into 3rd. by 4th gear he was way back. stuck my hand out revving past him. That was today at lunchtime.

Cant believe some of the cars that try to race..specially that Dodge wagon. He must weigh over 4K easy. Fastest one so far would be that EVO.

Couple good kills at the begining those last ones seem like you're picking on 12 year olds and taking their lunch.

Nice job, it would have been cool to race the Evo from a dig. Im not saying you could'nt have beat him, just saying it would have made it more interesting. Nice kills though!

That EVO was fast. Even though I was a half car ahead..I was coming up close to 6K already so I would not have pulled much more, not sure in 5th..but I can tell with 4th gear alone he was fast. I normally pull away by 4500-6K on 4th against most. That EVO was still at my passenger window when we let off.

bought the car in feb. cai/tune maybe a month after. i installed the vortech end of aug/early sep. cai/tune performance was okay, but some races were too close for comfort. too many cars now in the 300hp level..so instead of getting more bolt-ons with 10 hp here and there...decided on the s/c since you can get 400+rwhp without changing anything else.

Havent taken it to the track yet, but it dynoed about 425rwhp. Its my daily driver, so thats as far as I want to go. Besides, if I want to go drag racing, I have an Iroc that runs 9flat at 155.
