Finally got a nice spring day here in jersey. Cruising to work today I happen apon a 2015 V6 challenger. I really like the subtle new look. Well he must have been feeling pretty good about his new car because he blew past my Mustang and then slowed down and got even with me. I let him punch it a second time but I went with him on this hit. Put an easy car, maybe two on him up to 130 and let out. He gave me a thumbs up and sped off. Not 20 minutes later an older R/T gets even with me and you could tell he was itching to play after I threw him a rev. This time I punched it first and got out a half car and he nailed it. We let out at 130 dead even. Man I love spring!

 

Man, I can't wait. Sunny 65' here today, but still can't bring the Mustang out. It's stored in my back garage, and the only way in or out is across my side yard, which looks nice, but still to wet from the frost in the ground yet. I wouldn't make it 10 ft before sinking her in good. Couple more days like this though and it should be good.

Good runs Blue. Its a shame those R/Ts aren't any faster than they are. Thats where that Scat-Pack comes in handy though. I'd definitely go for that set-up if I ever bought one.

 

Yea the 3.7 did good against the 5.7. I was going to trade the Camaro for a skat pack but they wanted me to give them my Camaro for nothing so that deal never happened.

Funny thing is, every Challenger I pull up against, either at a light or the track always look at the Charger like it's just another sedan. I get a thumbs up or a wave but it's more like a greeting than a "cool car man!" ( which I am usually the one giving out lol)

I rev at them and they think it's "cute" or just smile like "cool.. bro."

I than nail the throttle and leave them in the dust while their tires are still peeling out back at the stop light lol
