I plan on going there in two weeks. Now I haven't been there as I just heard about it a couple days ago, but I did do some searching around and found out that it's $25 to race. They do follow the nhra rules, but I hear that they aren't too forceful about it, well except for the helmet if you're running 13's. I just hope that they prep the track as nicely as route 66 does over in joliet.

its alright as far as sticky goes, as long as your tires are too, lol... one thing that i hated when i went there, prob the same as every other track, is when the FWD cars with street tires try to warm their tires in the water box and then they drag the water all the way up to the tree so i spin like whoa.. as far as ghetto, i just didnt like the place, like how it was set up, when you go there youll see what im talking about... where in IL do you live im in northern chicago, in Lake County

Well sure it might not be as nice as route 66, but it doesn't cost $40 to run either, or atleast I'm pretty sure. I just wish that it had lights so it could be open past 6 because it's especially nice to run with the cold night air.

Man, you guys are paying too much. At Gateway International across from St. Louis it's $15 on street tire test and tune night every Tuesday and $20 on slick tire test and tune night every Wednesday, all the runs you can get in. And it's a world-class dragstrip, they recently hosted the NHRA Nationals and the Ford World Challenge.
