Coming out of a gas station with my new mods and feelin froggy I revved up at this older looking Mustang(mid to late 80's). I saw the hood pins(but missed the roll bar.) He happily followed me to the next turn where I punched it and pulled for about 100 feet where he caught me and went by like I was driving a stock Civ. We pulled into another conven store and then I saw he had the same sticker on the winshield(L&S Auto, local shop for Mustangs guys). I asked him what he ran, he said 12.0's before the tune. He was running a N/A massaged and punched 302. It was the owner of the shop's former car. hahah. I just laughed and said nice run. we bs'ed a while and left. Moral of the story, 1.5 seconds quicker in the quarter = major *** whip on the street. But I smoked a stock 99-04 GT like mine earlier that day really bad, so not all was lost.

 

haha. nice. too bad you lost though, but, at least it was a fellow 'Stang....a fast one on top of that.
