Well I am the proud owner of a 04 mustang GT and love it. However I was out yesterday riding my motorcycle to try and get my last ride of the year in, it is gonna snow soon. I ride an 05 Suzuki Hayabusa, when I pulled up to a light I heard the whine of a very familiar supercharger. I look over and it is an 03-04 Cobra. The guy rolls down the window and says nice bike, I say the same about his car and how I drive a GT.
All of a sudden he is revving the **** out of his engine and does a quick little brake stand. As the light going the other way is turning yellow he is on the gas bringin up his RPMs. Well I thought there will be a first for everything. I have never raced a Cobra in anything. Light goes green and.....well....I put him in his place by about 2 blocks. Why do guys always wanna race crotch rockets?? From stand still it will never happen.
I just have to say Kudos to that guy in a sonic blue Cobra. I love your car and wish I had it, it sounds and looks awesome. You would have taken me in my GT like nothing man!!!! Lata

 

i've seen KB cobras give a lot of crotch rockets a good run, and even beat them. he must have been stock to lose by THAT much, or your bike is that hawt.

 

I raced a 96 GT on my dirtbike, its a bored out kx250 with procircuit pipe n silencer and wiseco piston and i disowned it. Except for the fact that I almost flipped over backwards off teh start I beat it until i topped out at about 80 mph.

 

Well just think about it. My bike is 170hp and 500lbs. I weigh 160lbs. Power to weight ratio....freaking scary. Plus it don't hurt that it tops out at 340km/hr....

Yeah, but this isnt ur run of the mill CRB600 or 954. This is the king of all street bikes we are talking about here.

 

I've seen (video only of course) quite a few old foxes and few 03-04 cobras smack around hayabusas before. Though those types of cars are more than just few and far between. But you never know what you are up against when you just pull up to some nice calm looking fox at a light.

 

Nice kill. I ran a GXR in my GT with the same results. About 500 lengths on me. Oh well it was nice to atleast run one. I don't do it to win, I do it for fun. Of couse you gotta win sometimes or else you get tired of loosing.

By the way to all of you guys who don't really follow the motorcycle scenes that much, the Hayabusa is the fastest production bike which is capable of doing nines in the 1/4. It is a 1300cc monster..hope ya like. Bad pic of the bike, it was dark outside.

 

I think everyone is familiar with the Busa. Congrats on having one, they are unbelieveable. My mechanic is a retired pro bike racer. His son has a Kawasaki(sp?) 1000 sport bike on nitrous. He spanks all bikes at my strip. The Busa is the only thing he sometimes has trouble with.
