I ran into a S2000 on the highway, wasnt really minding my own business, was kinda ******* him into racing me. for a good reason of course, my friend from austin came down for a weekend, driving a s2000, we wanted to race, but he had a family emergency and had to leave before we had a chance to race, but lucky for me i happened to run into this one on the highway. We did a 50 roll start and it seemed unreal how far i got ahead of him, im thinking he backed off. After that i took an exit but he didnt follow me in despite me waving him in to follow. Anyways just kinda curious if anyone eles has raced one?

 

I could deffinatly see you beating him, but if you pulled like a bus length maybe he was in the wrong gear? I've raced one from a 20mph roll and it was even, whoever gunned it first jumped out a bit and stayed there.

 

Suprisingly the older S2000 (2000) was the quickest of them and would have smoked you. He probably had a 2003 automatic.

That's odd, because all of those cars are the same. 05s have a torque and displacement bump.

Id say it was about 2-3 carlengths, i dunno it just blew my mind seemed way too easy, i was really expecting it to be close or to get beat, i dunno. but thanks for the info on the car, i think im ganna go look up some more info on it now

 

yea ive put about 4 cars on a manual s2000 one night i dunno the year rom about 60-120

 

Ive been wanting to race one of those for quite some time

 

i haven't raced one since i got my turbonators installed. they all ph33r me when they hear those and my exhaust turbo spoolers.

actually, funny thing over the weekend. been raining here for like a month and an s2000 was next to me on a back road. trying to get me to race. pulled up at a stop sign and had my windows cracked. asked if i wanted to run and i said no. he was like "you scared to run it in the rain?" and i was like "uhhh.. yeah i am." he took off and nearly turned sideways. funniest damn thing i ever saw. he beat me to the light and he took off to try and make it go red on me and almost turned sideways again on that turn at the light.

 

Nanaki thats funny as hell I love it when a ricer trys racing me. Yesterday I pulled up to a light and to my suprise there was a dinan M5. he reved i reved mine I knew i was going to lose but i figured what the hell. when we stared racing I was about half a car length ahead but then he started pulling on me once we hit 60 then it just turned into a jail house raping.
