The last gen impala ss were 3.8L supercharged V6s. I think that is what he was getting at. However this thread clearly says 06 SS which would indicate V8.

 

It was the V8, 303 hp I think is the rating. I really think that he had Mommy's car and then lost his nerve. Chevy should leave the SS badge off anything with 4 or more doors.

 

Much like dodge minus the SS badge and plus the Charger symbol, what I am trying to say is chevy should leave the SS badge off anythign with 4 or more doors I agree and Dodge shouldnt call a four door car a charger.
