I have an 01 Cobra....lightly modded (catback, intake, ud pullies, tuner) nothing to shake your head at

Easy question, can I take a wrx sti?? He also has nothing but an exhaust, intake.

Both of us are decent drivers btw....id really like to shut him and his car up he talks ALOT of smack, jw wat u guys think....were goin to the track in a few days so i can give u the results!

I think he'd take you... but you'd put up a good fight. That would be a race I'd like to see. Don't forget your camera.

 

From a stop it would be close but he would probably edge you out. From a roll you should be able to beat him. Since you are going to the track you can't exactly run from a roll there.

As a point of reference, the Sti can run 13 flat factory stock. A lot of people don't give them enough credit.

 

That's because nobody here has seen it... so it couldn't have possibly EVER happened.

 

The fastest ive seen a stock STi run is 13.3, there were STi's running low 12s at the track but they wernt stock.

 

2000si, im gonna have to agree with you. Those cars are just plain sick off the line! I havent seen one on a track, but ive been in one before. Those cars are awesome! I know i wouldnt be talkin any smack with my gt. A slightly modded cobra on the other hand, you obviously have more HP than him, its just how hard he launches and how bad he smokes your *** off the start. I think you will be able to reel him in, but how long that will take is the question.
