When I purchased the car It had bald tires so I bought new ones as soon as I got it. I never wanted to do a burnout with my new tires but I probably should have. That way I would have known I need to rebuild my T-Lok!!!! Hahaha It was pretty sad. 285 ftlb of trq with 3.73s and only 1 wheel spinning. The best 60 foot I could muster was a 2.46 I had to launch from idle and even then it spun. O well, looks like I'll have to rebuild that over the chirstmas brake. Best time was a 15.426 @ 92.01 MPH. I guess i'll have to stick to racing from a roll.Hahaha

that track either sucked or you are not a great driver. it's up to you which one you wanna claim, though.

Well I guess the track sucked today since I could peel the rubber from my quarter panel after launching at 2K and having to get out of it. I still think my t-lok is strange.
But Other people where having no trouble. I dont know how me being a bad driving would cause my tires to spin till the 60 ft?

Just get some traction and the newer heads, you'll be all right.

while i dont want to imply that i dont deply cherish DKs track knowledge, with a GT, a 2.46 is AWFUL. my daily driver pulls better 60 foot times than that and it is an automatic V6 nonner, and is lucky to see high 15s...redass is right, either you just dont have launching down, or your mix of bad tires, and a poorly prepped track killed you. with a 2.46 short time, you have lots of potential.
