Default Supra TT

I was driving down the road tonight when I pull up next to a late model supra. I couldnt tell if it was a twin turbo or not so i decided to give him a little rev and let him hear the loudmouths. He revs back so i drop it into 3 at about 40 mph and go. I pull maybe a half car on him and I hear him downshift and rev up loud so that now I can hear his rather loud turbos. Needless to say he was long gone by the time i reached 60 haha. Pulled up next to him at the light and he told me he "was all stock except for the turbos and intercooler." Anyways he turned out to be a pretty cool guy, he complimented my exhaust and we went on our way.

I used to have one, very easy to drop into the 12's or high 11's. After that, it's pretty much downhill as far as traction and getting an appropriate gearing for the rearend, as they are nowhere to be found and you need race fuel to keep from destroying the engine. This starts making them terrible for drags, but easy to run with BIKES! on the interstate.
You can bet that the Turbo and intercooler were not the only things done.
No doubt, a BOV, exhaust, downpipe, engine management unit, intake pipe, and a boost controller.
All of those part are pretty standard when a turbo/intercooler upgrade is done. And depending on the size of the new turbo, he has probably upgraded the factory fuel system also. The factory system is only good to a T57 turbo, which is only one step above the stock system.
With a TT Supra, this pretty much puts you in at $6K invested or more and gets you to about 465hp at the wheels. It will put you into the 11's IF you can drive.

what numbers do those put down
they are 320 flywheel stock (tt)...but they are easily made a lot more. non turbo they are 220

there is an import tuner mag at work (sh*ter mags) where the did a best overall street car test.... all imports and a 1000+hp viper (don't ask me how that fits in). anyway, in the dyno part a supra make 450+whp on a dyno jet with fairly high miles, stock turbos, fuel system, computer, etc.... just a boost controller, turbo back exhaust, and a fmic. they said it had more in it by the owner was older and it scared the sh#t out him like it was
