Hello all~
I finally had my first 'real' street race.... Me and my girl were out last night and we are just.... cruisin, so we go past her school which was letting out of some after school play thing and are at this red light. This group of I guess sophomores in a honda that I couldn't tell what it was (smaller than a civic) and they are goin "WING WING WING" with the fart can. So the light goes green and we both rip on it, and I hear their 'badass' cold air intake.... I jam 2nd and I just wound out 2nd and bam he was gone.... it was great... my girl was laughin up a storm, she said it was a 'high' feeling...

okay sure?? Lol, yeah it was fun. The guy actually thought he could take me.... I got up to about 70 goin down this 30mph street at which time I figured I had it, and pulled in front of him and flashed my hazards... haha

Good kill, what kind of car do you have? It would have had to be a civic of some sort because they are the smallest honda besides the Insight.

 

The del slows are tiny too

 

That was the least interesting kill story I've ever read. Lacks in details, I have no idea what you're driving, and there is no way in hell you can get more than 2 people total in a Del Sol.

 

well.. lots of people hate long stories, then when they're shortened, people complain they're too short. short and to the point. i liked it.

oh what the f*** I guess my internet explorer errored out! I quickly posted back and posted that I have a 1997 mustang GT 5 speed, with flowmasters and a 2" drop... guess it never came through! I just casually accelerated through first and then shifted to 2nd, foot to floor and he was gone... he had some brief burst I guess he revved and dropped but he was gone easy.... my girl loved it

Just about a 3 block race, and at that point there are usually plenty of cops so I didn't want to push my luck... there will be more interesting race stories to come!! I got a buncha crazy car buddies...

Nice kill for your first race. I had my first real race a few weeks ago, and there is nothing like that feeling.
