me vs CTS-V

me vs CTS-V
So im on the way home from school and i get on the main road to head home. On the on ramp to this road there is a black cts behind me and i noticed the front fasica and automatically know that it is a cts-v. As soon as the ramp ends he guns it and blows by me, and while him flying by me i look at the rear end and see the V series badge on the left side. So im just cruising along and there happens to be a red light ahead. Guess who happens to be caught at the light? You guessed it the CTS-V. Now for those that dont know what this is its a 400 hp, 395 tq car, with the 2006 coming with a 6.0L LS2 engine.
But anyways, i turn off traction control and turn off my heat and roll up my windows and im getting ready for this. I wasn't expecting anything but you never know. Well i look over and he looks at me and points in front meaning he wants to race. I proceed to tell him that he is gonna wreck me cause he has 400 hp compared to mine. Well he says lets just do it, its just for fun. By this time, the light turns green and we just take off easy, we hit around maybe 7mph then we both gun it at the same time. Me and this guy were bumper to bumper all the way up till 75 then he started pulling on me.. i just started slowing down cause i knew there was no point and 75mph was fast enough for where we were at. Afterwords he gave me the thumbs up and we both went out own ways.
I'm so surprised that my car hung with the CTS-V. I messed with one before on the highway and that thing just blew all over me. Weird, maybe the guy was having traction problems or he couldnt shift.

my mom has a 05 cts-v for a business car i get to drive it everynow and then it is strong on the topend i love it tho if i could spend 55 grand on one i would..my dad beats me all the time in it by like 4 car length at like 100 and that was with stock gears in my car so im sure he would pull alot harder on me now topend..but good run

yea the 2006 will tear you a new a**hole actually it will ream you a new one. does 0-60 in about 4.8 and has almost 500hp and is supercharged (drool) with that fancy lil 6speed backin it
