Yah I know but that's why I said no point in that. I just remember a WRX on the freeway was scootin along and so I floored it as he passed me (he was doin about 80 and accelerating) with a Ford 500 or the lincoln version of the car ridin his **** at that speed. As soon as teh WRX scooted over, the Lincoln flew by him and left both of us in the dust. The subby had nothing on the top end.

 

this kids buddy have a stock 2002 tauras he is like yea it is a dohc 24v and I bet on a good day it would hang with you maybe beat you. I started laughing since they run 8.0 0-60 and 16.1 1/4.

 

I just found out that the wrx runs a 5.7 0-60 and 14.4 1/4 I am CRUSHED!!!!!!! and btw the Gt should be a decent race for this wrx with running bout 5.5 and 14.1 in a 99.

 

Your running 14.4? That has to be with nitrous or another power adder right?

Sorry to say but for the most part I agree my mods dont add any power maybe a horse or two from the CAI and with the short throw I would say no hp or tq but with a quicker shift time it will lower my 0-60 and 1/4 time a smidge. My plugs and wires maybe a 1/2 a hp but you can't say that they have done nothing because they have done a lil. As for my 0-60 and 1/4 time stock my car runs a 7.3 0-60 not 8.0 and mid to high 15's not low 16's. I will argue that til I die and I will argue it more when srping comes and I take my car to the track and show you a time slip!
