I have a stock 2001 GT, what would i need to do to get my car to beat a stock WS6 TA, tell me everything i need to do but try to list the cheapest way

That can be broken into two questions.

The first is in blue.
The second is in red.

First, run a 13.3 at WORST
Second, as far as the cost and everything, im not really sure.

But, what you'll need.

Full Exhaust (all 3 parts)
Gears (4.10s at least)
Throttle Body
Plenum
UD Pulleys
NICE Drag Radials
Control Arms
ANY other suspension parts

this could put you very close to a 13.3ish range.. maybe a nice tune could throw you over the ede

supercharger or nitrous. nitrous is the cheapest and easiest way to take a stock LS1.

 

Prayer. Lots of prayer. lol[8D] Lets see........Gears, tires and Nitrous and you are set!! That is probably the cheapest way to do it.

The cheapest way would be nitrous. But nothing about modding cars is cheap.

You're still going to need full exhaust to get the full potential out of the N20. With the stock manifolds, it's like blowing into a straw...And then when you add the nitrous it's like blowing harder into that same straw.
