I have a 96 GT stang which I actually am seriously considering putting a Cobra engine in, but what would I need to put me over the edge of an 05 WRX which is stock by the way, I was thinking the engine with 4.10 gears nd with a shift kit and torque convertor, btw the WRX is manual but it comes from the same kid who thought his fuel injectors gave him HP gains that he could feel, and he has a bazooka for an exhaust lol

 

gears and a PI swap should get you there.

 

youre gonna need a fair bit of work to get your auto GT down to bottom 14/top 13. im assuming he has an exhaust and cant drive. you said he has bigger injectors which means a bigger turbo, so you need to get in the 12's to win. mind you, i ran 12.9 with an exhaust and a boost controller.

 

nope he has stock turbo he told me his mods, exhaust, blowoff valve which really isnt a perf. mod and CAI

 

I had a roll race with an 2000/2001 sti, from about 60mph, it really wasn't all that impressive but he still beat me.

 

They didn't make an STI in 2000 or 2001 for the US market. It might have been a GC8 2.5RS that had an STI wing and badges, POSSIBLY an STI swap. Those are few and far between with swaps though.
