got riced!
An EVO is something that is dangerous in the hands of someone that knows how to drive it. Fortunatly for us 80% of the people that bought them in the last year or two in the US, are 19 year old punks who will tell you Fast and Furious was an epiphany for them. Now anyone that does some logical thinking can put this into perspective. You buy an EVO and finally get it paid off in 4 years and say you do a couple mods to it. $30k easily. You buy a Mustang for $15k and put even $6k into it, 1 you'll easily stomp them and 2 you'll have cash for something else like moving out of your moms house.

Or you could buy a 1st gen dsm for $2k put $10k into it and crush most anything on the street, then you would still have money left over to buy an early 90's mustang as well as money for something else.........see how this game works. I hate when people make comparisons like this because there is always a way to make it seem like you would be better off had you bought a different car. On a different note, not to jack the thread or anything but, how many people live in the 757 here?

Or i could buy a 4k short block, some 2k heads, and put it into an LT1 car for under 10 k. Slap an 800 dollar N20 kit and you have an 800-900rwhp beast with over 1000lb tq. pretty much unbeatable on the highway.

Whats funny is how he said the evo smelled like trash when he pasted him... I dont know what it is about them, but almost all of them that i know of do that. I hang out with 3 evo on a regular basis. one is stock, the other 2 modified. And no matter what those cars allways smell of burning sulfer or burning gym shoes.
Don't feel bad about being beat by an evo. Feel good knowing your car will have no problems at 100k miles where as the evo is a different story.

All in opinion. I prefer a roll race.
