yeah i have come to find that alot of people at ls1tech are cocky. they have reason to be though they have very fast cars that are just nasty. i haven't been to a cobra website but im sure they are cocky as well...

When youre talking domestic v.s. import its pretty much a big battle of money. for example i paid 5200 for my stang and im running 7.80s 8th. finding an import to do that costs a heck of alot more.

I have always been impressed with EVOs. They are an all around better car than mine, stock vs. stock and I have no problem admitting that. Granted, my friend has an EVO MR that's a great car, but the interior is kind of weak and feels really cheap. To its credit though, only 1500 worth of mods into the car (MBC, straight catless exhaust, a new camshaft, and an intake + tune) and he put down just over 300 at the wheels and ~350 on race gas. That's on the STOCK turbo! From what I remember, the stock MR turbo is capable of over 400awhp with the right supporting mods.
A trash-talking coworker with a camaro was bashing imports, claiming no import 4 banger could break into the 12s. They took it to the strip where the camaro ran a 13.6 or against my friend's 12.2. Needless to say I'm sure that shut the guy up =p
