I was there. But you dont have my dad's vette on there.

You remember the Supercharged White C5 that broke coming off the line? Yea, that was my dad's vette...

Too much Torque for on of the Half Shafts and it busted. Picked up 2 ball bearings, a pice of metal and a bolt off the starting line...kinda sucked. We were in the left lane. If you watching when it happen, Im the young guy that went out to the car on the the track and got in it to steer while it was being towed...

Kinda depresing but we are getting it fixed and are gonna have it running is SC next month. But i was Deff. there.

Lots of people were breaking things that day, an SS Camaro did almost the same thing we did, that track was sticky as hell so everything was grabbing hard....just grabbed too hard.

It was kinda crappy that they werent showing the times tho...Thats half the fun is knowing what people are running.

yeah i was pissed that they weren't showing the times.

What time did the corvette break? I got there at 11am, so I might not have seen it.

The black camaro that scraped the wall and the silver firebird were probably my two favorite ones there. I bet that green fox mustang was one of the fastest too

that thing scared me

im not sure what time it was, but it was right before i ate lunch so prolly right as you got there. The car was sitting at the back of the trailer the rest of the day, until we left at about 2 or 2:30.

You remember that big trailer that was parked on the corner right next to the staging lanes on the right side of the track? Had a White vette sitting behind it? Right next to the red GTO. That is was us...

We were there with the guy with the red GTO. lol, he was supercharged running 11.5-11.7, But he was shutting down half way down the track b/c the street tires that he had on the front were a little wider than the M/T he had on the back so the car was getting loose top end.

I think the 11.7 was @ like 110, so you know he shut down. I have it on video...but they dont show the time so it is kinda useless....

No, it was a new one. It is a 2004 i think...

There were actually two new RED ones there. But this one is the one that had blue tape on the back to catch the rubber...
