I finally got my car back and was kinda accelerating fast from lights. well I didnt realize there was a GT next to me. He thought I was racing him, so he got on it. So did I. He got me by like 2 cars before we got to traffic.

I can live with 2 car lengths! Normally I get beat worse than that because all of the GTs I try to race turn out to be heavily modded. I only beat one GT, but that's only because it was all stock and VERY poorly maintained.

 

what year was the GT you beat and what year was it that you got beat only 2 car lengths by. I have raced and hung with one before obviously he slowed pulled away but nothing like I expected.

He only got two lenths cause he caught up with traffic. It was a very short race

 

The GT I beat was a '95.

 

it IS possible for a 6 to beat a GT or come really close to it.

 

I know a guy who used to have a v6 automatic that would beat a 99-04 GT. It can be done.

 

I only have intake and exhaust. If I saw him before I took off, I woulda seen the death coming. On a sidenote we were even till 15mph

 

right around the time his tires stopped spinnin i'm sure.

 

Actually he didnt spin, we were even then he left. Prolly cause it was the most unprepared race ever. we were even when we looked at each other, took off, I got walked and he got infront of me
