ok, now i was debating on whether or not to post this... because im just not sure if this is bullsh*t or not.. but here it goes, tell me what you guys think...

I was on my way home and i come to a light where to two right lanes go where I need to go, and the left lane goes the exact opposite way... so im in the left lane, and a Porsche Carerra is next to me... so at this point im just thinking, that im not even going to try to waste my gas, ill just see if i can get in front of em, and if i cant just get behind em, but this guy is starin hard at my car (2 guys about 40-50), but i just brush it off. light turns green and I pull off the line pretty hard like I always do, and he slams it much to my surprise.. so I change lanes get all the way into the right lane, and he's about 2.5 cars in front of me now, and I am already in mid second, and I just slam the gas and to my surprise start to catch em.. I get within a car of em, and I can hear the thing even with my exhaust screaming, and pass em doin about 115 finally, and then I was out of 4th gear, so I just throw it into 5th and have to stop, but he catches me again and flies by me doin god... 130 maybe? So, now still confused he's at a light as im passing about another mile up; honks his horn, waves and gives me a thumbs up...

ok, so without flaming - because im just not sure what happened... what happened? haha - was this a race, or just 2 guys messin around?

 

They were just out havin fun. -Same as you. BTW, the thumbs-up is usually a good thing.

yeah it always is a good thing... Its just normally when a car is screamin pretty loud he's tryin - just couldn't believe i'd be catchin em... still had some fun though, haha.

 

Either he let off or messed up. I raced a girl in a '04 Cobra and pulled a few cars on her, let off, then she went flying by at 100+. She told me she had messed up a shift. In this case he most likely shut down early, changed his mind, then gunned it again. Sounds like fun.
