my friend has a 98 GT with aftermarket plug wires, radiator, full exahust except headers, hes got a CAI, its an automatic and its still got the 3:08s in it, its pretty quick, but with my mods do you guys think i could hang with him and i also got 1 more question could i beat a stock 88 IROC camaro, my brother is looking at this car, im thinkin hes gonna get it and i cant have my lil bro havin a faster car than me, thanks for any help

 

You should be able to take both of them judging by your mod list/car.

The mods in bold add no hp what so ever, the underlined mod adds maybe 1 hp. I think you have him covered. You should also be right with IROC unless it's a 305 then you will blow it's *** out.

 

didnt all irocs have 350s? ive rode in my buddys stang and i think its really close to mine, it has 2 b

 

Exhaust doesnt add any hp. Oh and what is radiator doing in the mod list.

Well he might get a couple of hp from no cats, unless he just hollowed them out, that usually hurts hp. Some Irocs had 305's for sure in fact all 5 speed Irocs had 305's the 350 was optional with the auto.
