RX-7's are ugly, I love the look of the RX8 but it's an absolute turd, I test drove a bunch and they are slower than 2000Si.

Your GT with TWO flat tires and a couple dead bodies in the trunk could beat the RX8.

 

my friend with a 2001 COMPLETELY stock burned one on the fly (40mph) and from a stop. It was my friends first race too, I was with him. when you race him, try short shifting at about 2,000 rpm and see if you can win with just torque.

 

Auto rx8 = 200hp or so, 6spd I think is around 240 and change... you will murder him both times... my friends 2003 V6 w/Superchip smoked another friends 05' auto RX8 by around 2-3 cars and from behind...

 

i have seen alot of RX8s at the track, both on regular track days, and at import events, and even modded, they were pigs...they have no torque...and for the weight,they are under powered...
