Well the night started off good, goin to my boy's house for a bit. Well me and Chris decided to run up to wawa for some smokes. He hadn't been in my car and he has a 96 GT and I figured I would lay on it a bit. Well took off ground second (clutch needs adjusted) and hit third and shut it down so I could make our turn. As I am making my turn, I look in my mirror and you guessed it cherries and blue berries. Well after sittin there for about an hour with two cop cars. Sobriety test and all. I had like one beer two hours before we left so I was beyond good. I ended up with a reckless driving for breaking traction. That is all the ticket says. No speedin or anything on it. So on the way home I am rollin down 264 commin back towards norfolk and I roll up on a camero. One of the newer ones. It was dark so I couldn't tell much. Well a VW GTI decided to talk some BS on the road, and the comero smaked him and I tucked in right behind him. Well we got clear and lined up and slowed to about 55 or so. He did the honks and I grabbed 2nd and took off. Well he jumped me by about 3 lengths, and I was holdin on to him and startin to pull back up. I had closed the gap to about 1 1/2 lenghts when we shut down. I pulled up next to him and he gave me the thumbs up before I could. I returned the thumb and took my exit. Wish I could have talked to him for a bit and find out what he had. So got my first ticket and first loss in one night.

I don't know what he had but he jumped 3 lengths on me instantly and I started to close the gap on him a little. My boy thinks he sprayed on me at first. I don't know. He got them 3 like I was standin still

 

Depending on gears and tranny, different speeds are better for different cars as far as punching it off from a roll. Maybe it was a good speed for him and a bad one for you.

 

and then there are some like me that just get caught all the time. but like everyone else said better luck next time
