1st race: Golf GTI 1.8T

He actually pulled me in first gear, but then i caught him in second, but we only ran 2 gears.


2nd race: 300zx TT @ 10psi

We raced right in front of Auto Zone. There is an Auto Zone out at the cruise spot that is usually packed with people hangin out and racing. We went from a 10 roll right in front of them...there was prolly about 12-15 cars in there and lots of people. We ran to about 1/2 way thru third gear and i wasnt sure ho much i got him by b/c i wasnt paying attention to him, i was more concerned with where i was going. When we got back to Auto Zone to hang out, he said i put about a car on him.

This is where it gets good....

3rd race: '01 civic SI t3/t4 @15 psi.

After i talk to a few people at Auto Zone. I notice that Matt Thomas is there...for those of you who saw my video, you know who I am talking about.

He started to run his mouth and I told him to put up or shut up so we ran em. We left the cruise spot b/c we had about 5 cars tailing us to watch the race and we didnt want to draw that much attention b/c the cops were starting to show up. So we went to 460. I tried to get him from a light but he wouldnt....he waited till we had come off the light to run me. I thought he was gonna get up next to me to get an even start but nnnnoooooooo he thought he would try to get a jump on me...i saw him in my mirror start to go and i thought so i punched it, but he started first so i didnt catch him till 3rd gear.

But we went again from a 20 roll and he got me a little in 1st but then when i hit 2nd and grabbed i realed him in, then hit 3rd kept pulling, and by 4th gear i had a few cars on him and i got in front of him and hit my 4-ways[8D].

We pulled into the kroger a few miles down the road and i got another race...

4th race: T/A with un-known mods

He wanted to run me on the back down 460 going the other way. So we went from like 20 roll and he got a 1/2 car on my in first, then another car on me in second b/c i was sideways ( i laid down smoke behind me b/c i couldnt get traction when i hit 2nd) then i started to reel him in in 3rd but we had to stop b/c of a red light and traffic. But i think i would have reeled him back in if it wasnt for that red light and traffic.


And the whole time i was running a V1 radar detector.

What year was the T/A?

 

'99, but i think he has a Cam in it...cause you can hear it when it idles. And i KNOw he has some kind of exhaust work. Im just not sure what all he has done.

 

So you were reeling in a cammed LS1 on the top end? Are you spraying or something? Ellis responds quite well with a cam swap, especially on the top end. Exhaust helps too.

Damn, I guess opening the ehaust helps those Machs out a lot.[:-] Good run.

 

and ill have to check around a bit, but isnt a 300zx TT @ 10psi running roughly stock boost?
