The other night, my buddies and I went to our spot where no one is. Well I finally got to race an evo. It was pretty cold out so I didn't laucnh it very high, like 2200rpms. I took off without spin and gained a half a car really quick, but then the evo just jumped out a car. Damn AWD. He kept that car length the whole race. I didn't do that bad in myopinoin, he has full exhaust and a boost controller. I only lost by a car, and it was my first loss. I beat another srt that night tho.

 

i guess he didn't really launch either or he'd have had a lot more on you than a car

Seeing has how you are pretty much stock and a stock EVO can run mid 13s all day....

 

I know an a** ho** who has an evo... before he turned into a jerk he took me for a spin. Those things launch like a bat outta hell.... and they are faaast too.... gotta love awd turbo.... was stuck to my seat

he has a stage III clutch in it, a turbo timer, blowoff valve, and some other crap... his parents flatout handed this car to him, and he uses his, um, illegal money, to mod it...

Ya, he said he launched it from 3-4k. He isn't a good driver, with some 4:10's, sticky tires, and the sand bags removed, I'll beat him, I know it.

 

theres this guy at work who has a nice evo 8, ive always wanted to race him...but i figure come summer time ill embarrass the **** out of him when my junk is installed. sounds like a good run though, i imagine once he gets better at driving he'll be tough to beat even with gears.

 

personally I don't like evo's but sounds like you had a fair run with an AWD car.
